Currently, we are looking for individuals to join the Airport Ambassadors Program. This volunteer opportunity provides a courteous and friendly welcome as well as general assistance to travelers at BHM.

Airport Ambassador duties include:

  • Answering general questions travelers may have
  • Helping during events
  • Telling travelers about new amenities and events
  • Storytelling Time
  • Community Tours

Those interested in becoming an Airport Ambassador must have a passion for helping others and the city of Birmingham. Volunteers will learn about the aviation industry Alabama’s busiest airport, how it operates, as well as interacting with people from all over the world daily.
