Schoolwide Theatre Information

The Theatre Department will be casting and presenting three schoolwi‚Äčde plays. There will be two straight plays (non-musical), followed by the spring musical. In addition, we will be working with other groups to bring back the talent show and will be in charge of the school pageant. 

Listed below are the plays, along with a brief summary and the performance dates. 


Fall Play-The Plot, Like Gravy, Thickens

Performances will be October 27, 28, 29th

Auditions held: August 29th and 30th-see Mrs. Meeks in the theatre classroom during 2nd or 3rd period or room 101 any other time. 

A great show for Halloween, it's a madcap mystery, with lots of crazy, fun characters. Characters include a tyrannical millionaire and his relatives, business associates, and household staff- most of whom have reason to wish the man dead. The story takes place in a mansion at a birthday celebration. In Act II, the police detective allows the audience to question or accuse suspects before the killer's identity is revealed in a surprising climax.

Winter Play-Cinderella

Performances will be February 1-3rd

Auditions held: tentatively held at the beginning of November

The classic, non-musical version of a children’s favorite, including Cinderella herself, as well as her two evil step-sisters and step-mother. Prince Charming will sweep you off of your feet in this fairy tale.

  Spring Musical-Annie, the Musical
Performances will be May 2-5th 
**Auditions announced later in the year, most likely in December or early January
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
