 Donations

For the second consecutive year our funding has been cut 100%, therefore your assistance is crucial for the Library Media Center to maintain and advance its quality service programs and collections. Monetary gifts to the library have far-reaching impacts. Direct monetary gifts are the most common form of giving and can be unrestricted or designated for a specific fund. These gifts are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. A letter clearly stating your donation will be issued from Dr. Vacca. Checks can be delivered to the Main Office or the Library Media Center and should be made payable to the “Gardendale High School Library Media Center.” All donations are judged with the same criteria as purchased materials, and accepted or rejected accordingly. Unless arrangements are made with the librarian, gift books that are not added to the collection will be donated to a local charity.
